Dave T takes 2006 Fall Series
As an award for sailing but also consistency, Dave T took first place for the Fall Series for 2006. Dave Y who missed the last race day finished second and Al completed the podium for the first time. Congratulations to all. Fall Series at full steam
After the series opening where Dave Y. took the top position, Pablo won the following two race days. The Fall Series has two more race days to go which guarantees plenty of action left for the year. September 18
Brians Sims, Region 4 Champion!
On a beautiful weekend, with several wind conditions, Brian Sims from Louisville, KY finished first on the 2006 AMYA Region 4 Championship. Dick Martin from Columbia, MO took second and our local Dave Yardy completed the podium. Stay tuned for full results. September 14
Region 4 regatta weekend!
Eleven competitors from 3 states will participate in the 2006 edition of the AMYA Region 4 Championship for the CR 914. September 9

We are one week away of the 2006 AMAYA Region 4 championship and we have 11 entries! Boats from Missouri, Kentuky and Ohio will participate in this event. There is still room for more entries, so don't miss the opportunity! August 21
Dave Y wins Summer Series
On a perfect day for sailing, with plenty of sunshine and 8mph winds, Dave Y secured his first place on the Summer Series. This is the first series Dave wins. Congratulations! July 27
Region 4 regatta update
We have launched the site for the 2006 AMYA Region 4 Championship where you can find the Notice of Race and Registration forms. Please contact us to let us know your intention to participate in the regatta. It will be a great opportunity to meet new people and get prepared for the 2006 Nationals in San Diego. July 23
Day 3 of Summer Series report
Today we completed Day 3 of the Summer Series. On a beautiful day, with sunny skies, 81 F temperature and light winds, Dave Y. finished on the top spot for third time in a row. Chris and Al completed the podium. Well done guys! Competition was of the closest ever, indicating that the training and discussion session had a good result. We should repeat it from now on. July 10

Dave Y. finished first at the second day of the Summer Series, taking a commanding lead on the championship. Only 7 points separated 5 boats, showing how close racing was. Check the current results here. June 23
Spring Series end, Summer Series follow
Pablo took the top spot of the Spring Series coming from behind after a false start on the first day of the Series. Dave Y. had a great series and finished second. Check out the complete results here. June 5
Close competition until the end of the Spring Series
Yesterday the 4th day of the Spring Series took place. Very competitive sailing by the top four boats made it very interesting. Dave Y took first place by a margin of only two points. Pablo, with his second place, took over the lead of the overall scores but by only two points. May 8
8 boats competed on Day 2 of Spring Series
Day 2 of the Spring Series took place under a beautiful clear sky. Light winds from various directions made it difficult to setup good courses, but 10 races were completed in time. Pablo finished 1st after a false start on Day 1. Only 12 points separated 2nd and 7th, very close racing! Take a look at the full results. May 4
This Sunday at 3 PM will be run Day 2 of the Spring Series. Due to weeds in the pond of Cottell Park, we will be going back to VOA park until further notice. Day 1 of Spring Series
Last Sunday we started the racing season. On a windy day, we completed the first 10 races of the Spring Series. Dave Y took 1st on a dramatic day: one boat sunk (it was recovered) and another member's radio transmitter fell in the water. April 20

The Cincinnati Model Yacht Club starts the racing season this Sunday April 23rd. We have plenty of news regarding our club: March 12
Getting ready to sail !
Today we had a nice meeting to discuss some topics before we start sailing. We decided that we are getting new bouys, we will implement a new scoring system and we will host the AMYA Region 4 Championship for a second time in a row. January 3

Finally! I've been able to post the results for the 2005 Fall Series. Pablo grabbed the first place overall. Bernard finished 1st on Day 5, great racing! November 6

9 boats participated on Day 2 of Fall Series!
A total of 9 boats, all of our current members raced on Day 2 of the Fall Series. With SSE light winds starts were crowded but we had a great time. We were able to complete the scheduled 10 races while it started raining. Check out the results! September 12

Bernard wins 2005 Summer Series; Region 4 this weekend!
Results for days 4 and 5 of the Summer Series have been posted. After all calculations updated, Bernard came up on top on a tie-braker with Dave Y. Congratulations Bernard! Not missing a single day paid off. Dave T. finished 3rd by one point. July 28
Top 3 Tied on Day 3
Last Sunday, Dave T, Dave Y and Bernard, all three, finished with 14 points, tied for 1st place, first time ever something like it happened. Great day of racing, congratulations all! July 21
Summer Series Day 3 & Region 4 News
The Summer Series will continue this Sunday 24th at 3 PM with the 3rd day of racing. Sunday will be a hot day with light winds. Come prepared with plenty of water and sunscreen. July 11th

This past weekend the Summer Series got started. Check out the results. June 6th We are officially announcing the AMYA Region 4 Championship, to be hosted by our club in August 27-28. If you are interested in participating, please contact us letting us know or send your registration form now! The 5th day of the Spring Series took place this past weekend. Check out the results here! This coming Sunday, June 12th, we will be racing all day at VOA starting at 10am. Come prepared to enjoy a full day of racing, with plenty of water, sunscreen and something to eat at lunch. June 2nd This coming weekend we will have the 5th day of the Spring Series. The following Sunday 12th, we will race all day (starting at 10AM) and recover Day 2 previously cancelled. Check out the standings of the Spring Series. May 24th Great day of racing for our 4th race day of the Spring series. Here are the results. May 11th After a canceled race day due to bad weather, we went back racing last Sunday. With very light winds, Pablo took a commanding lead in the last races of the day. The following positions ended very close together. Check out the results. Next race day is May 22nd. Don't miss it! April 12th Last Sunday we kicked off the Racing season with the start of the Spring Series. Very light winds, lots of sunshine and a big crowd were present. Here are the results.
