News from 2005 AMYA Region 4

Darren Bolton (#1010) from Australia and resident of Chicago won the 2005 AMYA Region 4 Championship. Darren had a great day and outscored Dick Martin in the final 10 races of the regatta. On third place finished Hank Buchanan from NY completing an all-out-of-state podium. Locals Greg Johnson and Dave Yardy took trophies for fourth and fifth places.

At the midpoint of the regatta weekend, Dick Martin from Columbia, Missouri is leading the pack of 11 sailboats. We sailed 24 races all day long, with nice winds from the WSW at around 8 and 10 mph.
